ANNOUNCEMENT: We realize that it currently looks like a beautiful day for a star party tonight at the Cozad Community Schools Football field. HOWEVER, Mother Nature and the Universe have conspired against us. There is currently a 39% chance of cloud cover between 8-9pm, a 26% chance between 9-10pm and a 37% chance of cloud cover between 10-11pm {along with a 25%} chance of rain. Knowing that Nebraska weather can change at the drop of a hat, but also realizing that the Platte Valley Astronomical Observers are coming from as far away as O'Neill, we have decided to postpone the Star Party until Friday, October 24. Please share and help spread the word. Thank you!

The Board of Public Works is accepting applications for a Water/Wastewater Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a valid drivers license, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work with the general public.
