ANNOUNCEMENT: We realize that it currently looks like a beautiful day for a star party tonight at the Cozad Community Schools Football field. HOWEVER, Mother Nature and the Universe have conspired against us. There is currently a 39% chance of cloud cover between 8-9pm, a 26% chance between 9-10pm and a 37% chance of cloud cover between 10-11pm {along with a 25%} chance of rain. Knowing that Nebraska weather can change at the drop of a hat, but also realizing that the Platte Valley Astronomical Observers are coming from as far away as O'Neill, we have decided to postpone the Star Party until Friday, October 24.
