The roll off dumpster will be available this Saturday starting at 8am until it is full. There will be no roll off next Saturday, July 4th. One will be available on July 11th.

Cozad Swimming Pool will be Opening at 2PM this Saturday, June 27th.

Cozad Swimming Pool will be closing early at 5PM on both Friday, June 26th and Monday, June 29th.

The City of Cozad is pleased to share a listing of upcoming large capital projects for the community. These projects are critical to ensure safe, reliable and updated water, sewer and electrical services for the community for many years to come.

The Cozad City Council approved to change the bi-weekly council meeting time from 7pm to 5:30 pm. Starting on the next council meeting date, July 6th.

Splash Pad will be closed today from 8am - 1pm for maintenance work.

💥🧨Celebrate Responsibly: Cozad Fireworks Ordinance🧨💥
As we gear up for the 4th of July, let's make sure our celebrations are both fun and legal. Here is what you need to know about the City of Cozad fireworks ordinance:
💥Legal Dates: Permitted for use between June 25 and July 4th
💥Legal Times: You can light fireworks between 10AM - 11PM except on July 4th until Midnight.
💥Where to Buy: Hot Rocket Fireworks is a permitted vendor in Cozad
💥Where to Light: Allowed on your own private property. Prohibited on public parks or city-owned property. Never shoot fireworks near dry grass, brush, or on top of structures.
Help us keep our community safe and fire-free.

🎨🫟Looking to have some Messy Fun this Weekend🫟🎨
Wilson Public Library will be hosting a Messtival
Saturday, June 20 from 10am-Noon at Muny Park’s soccer fields
The Messtival is where you can unleash your creativity in messy crafts or dive into gooey activities that will leave you laughing and splattered! This year they have 11 messy fun stations for artists of all ages.
Be sure to wear mess-ready clothes and shoes as staining is possible, and tuck in a towel to dry off for good measure.

🚧 Water Main Replacement Project – East 12th Street 🚧
The City of Cozad will begin replacing the aging water main along East 12th Street the week of July 6th . This important infrastructure project will improve water service reliability, enhance fire protection capabilities, and reduce future maintenance needs.
Residents may experience temporary traffic disruptions and occasional water service interruptions during construction. The City will provide advance notice whenever possible.
Thank you for your patience as we invest in improvements that will benefit our community for years to come.
